In honor of Black History Month, The Brain and Body Coalition is holding a Men’s wellness panel at the Trolley Barn which is located at 489 Main Street in Poughkeepsie. This will take place from 4-7pm on February 24th. The Topic is : Black History, Our History and His Story. Come join this diverse panel of speakers as they shed light on how Black History has influenced them and helped shape the role they play in our community.

Summer Fun Saturdays
Summer Fun Saturday’s are a great way for youth of all ages to remain physically active over the summer while having fun and socializing.
Each Saturday offers a new activity that youth can opt into such as the YMCA Basketball Clinic with former D1 Basketball player Shad Gipson, Running Clinic with Steve Ackerman, Skateboarding with KNASP, Drone flying classes and other activities presented by Community Matters 2.
Summer Fun Saturday’s presented by the YMCA of Kingston and Ulster County, Community Matters 2, Inc., Day One Early Learning and the City of Poughkeepsie all organizations are members of the 35 Montgomery Street Coalition.

Poughkeepsie City Wide Cleanup Day
Community Matters 2, Inc. & Changepoint Church have teamed up for a huge cleanup. A cleanup to start the summer off right by cleaning multiple areas of the City of Poughkeepsie. This is a cleanup where all participants will have a designated team they will be apart of. The goal is to clean multiple sites in Poughkeepsie that have issues with garbage and trash.
