Housing Insecurity/Justice
Hudson River Housing (HRH) is dedicated to building strong, sustainable communities by developing and preserving quality affordable housing and helping families and individuals obtain and maintain housing through education, advocacy and support services. HRH affirms that housing is a basic human right that should be available to all, regardless of income, family makeup, physical or mental health issues, or any other defining factors.

Hours: Students can register for either 0.5 or 1.0 unit of credit. 0.5 unit = 40 hours over the semester with the organization + 30 hours of academic work 1.0 unit = 80 hours over the semester with the organization + 60 hours of academic work

For the Many is an organization building a grassroots movement of everyday people to transform New York so it works for all of us. They work on both issue and electoral progressive campaigns, in order to win elections and pass laws at the local and state level. The primary issues they are currently on are housing, healthcare, energy, and racial justice.
