DESCRIPTION:Marie Watt is a member of the Turtle Clan of the Seneca Nation of Indians whose work draws on images and ideas from Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) protofeminism and Indigenous teachings. Her practice is interdisciplinary\, incorporating printmaking\, painting\, textiles\, and sculpture.
