DESCRIPTION:Soundpainting at the Loeb\nThursdays in July (July 3\, 10\, 17\, 24) \nLoeb Galleries \n“Biography” is an ensemble-based\, improvised performance conceived and composed by Max Reuben and performed by members of the Training Company. It utilizes the gestural composing language of Soundpainting\, a mode of gestural live composition with roots in the Hudson Valley\, to depict the life and achievements of a spontaneously made-up person who is very\, very real. \n  \nPerformances will take place during Late Night from 6–7pm on July 3\, July 10\, July 17\, and July 24. This event is free and open to the public. No ticket required.

These inspiring individuals are not just skilled facilitators — they are community members\, activists\, and artists who bring their lived experience to TMI Project’s unique storytelling methodology. \nStories for Freedom is inspired by practices of liberation that have emerged from Black and Indigenous communities\, and aims to challenge us all to take bold action in the disruption of systemic oppression. We believe deeply in the power of storytelling to liberate both the speaker and audience. \nCome early for the Freedom Fair\nFree food\, writing sessions\, photo portraits by Kristopher Johnson\, and offerings from local organizations! \nThis event can be accessed both in person and online via livestream.
