Outreach Coordinator for the Cheetah Conservation Fund

This opportunity is available during Fall 2021 semester. This opportunity can be conducted virtually and is only available for CEL credit.

Cheetah Conservation Fund’s (CCF) mission is to be the internationally recognized center of excellence in the conservation of cheetahs and their ecosystems. CCF will work with all stakeholders to develop best practices in research, education, and land use to benefit all species, including people.

Project or Position Description: Students will work with wildlife/environmental associated NGO’s within the greater Boston area, NY, NJ, CT, and adjacent New England states, as well as with zoos, local Universities, and state wildlife agencies to promote awareness of our organization and recruit members. A membership application that solicits potential member strengths and interests could be developed to build a member database/spreadsheet. The project would conclude with a Zoom meeting of all newly recruited members where the new and old meet and learn more about each other. This would expand our outreach into the local wildlife community, spread awareness of our mission, and acquire greater membership that harnesses a wide variety of skill sets to use to drive local CCF fundraising and teaching opportunities.
