DESCRIPTION:Volunteer shifts are starting back up at the farm! Keep your eyes peeled for garden volunteer shifts. \nVolunteer Orientation April 27th 4-6 \nInterested in volunteering with us but want to learn more? We’ll be hosting a tour and information session for new and returning volunteers to answer questions and highlight different aspects of volunteering in the garden with our education team or out on the farm! More details coming very soon. \nEvery week PFP offers multiple opportunities to get your hands dirty – no experience necessary! Come to the gardens and the fields to spend time with plants and fellow plant enthusiasts. Staff will offer guidance in tasks ranging from weeding and washing to pruning and harvesting. \n🥕 Farm Fieldwork Shifts\, Wednesdays and Fridays\, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Help out in the field. with additional days scheduled throughout the year— dates TBA. Opportunities on the farm are fitted to individual needs and interests as much as possible! \n🚗 Donation Delivery Runs\, multiple slots per week: Join the squad that moves hundreds of pounds of veggies a week to local pantries and kitchens during the growing season. You can sign up for one delivery at a time – no commitment needed! – up to one week in advance of the run. Cars of all sizes are welcome!
