Bringing together artists based across Asia and its diasporas, the exhibition examines how landscapes are traversed, contested and remembered across shifting cultural and geographical boundaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Photo Exhibition<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-x-large-font-size\">The Wild China: Selected Photos by Xi Zhinong <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">Co-sponsored by the Wild China Film, the Andrea Baldeck Endowment, and the Asian Studies Program at Vassar College<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right has-large-font-size\">College Center 2F<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Xi Zhinong<\/strong> is a pioneering Chinese wildlife photographer and conservationist renowned for using imagery to protect China\u2019s endangered species.&nbsp; He is the founder of Wild China Film, an organization dedicated to nature conservation. He is among the few Chinese photographers to win numerous prestigious international awards, such as the Gerald Durrell Award for Endangered Wildlife and the BBC&#8217;s Wildlife Photographer of the Year. He is the only Chinese national in the International League of Conservation Photographers and was named a National Geographic Wayfinder Award recipient in 2022.
