I received my B.A. in mathematics from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carleton.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carleton College<\/a>, and my Ph.D. in biostatistics from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biostat.jhsph.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Department of Biostatistics<\/a> at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jhsph.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Johns Hopkins School of Public Health<\/a> (advisor: <a href=\"http:\/\/biosun01.biostat.jhsph.edu\/~cfrangak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Constantine Frangakis<\/a>). In between college and graduate school, I worked as a data analyst in the <a href=\"http:\/\/mayoresearch.mayo.edu\/biostat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Division of Biomedical Statistics and Informatics<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mayo.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Mayo Clinic<\/a>.
