PI<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Juan M. Merlo-Ram\u00edrez is an assistant professor of physics in the Physics and Astronomy Department at Vassar College. He has a Ph.D. in optics from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics, and Electronics in Puebla, Mexico. His research focuses on near-field microscopy, plasmonics, and topological phases of matter in classical systems. Juan is also interested in the dissemination of scientific knowledge through science books for kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

James Zuckerman<\/strong> is a Physics and Computer Science major with a correlate in Economics. In the lab, he is currently working on manipulating parameters for electron beam lithography to control the resulting print. James is also refining his technique using the AFM and SEM systems to aid in his works. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Madeleine Carhart<\/strong> is a graduate student at UW<\/strong> (2024). Madeleine was the lab’s RA from 2022 to 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah Ziegler<\/strong> is a graduate student at Harvard<\/strong> (2024)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katie Canavan<\/strong> is a graduate student at BC<\/strong> (2024)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charlotte Rhoads<\/strong> is a graduate student at CUNY<\/strong> (2023)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
