Mind-reading research continues to be a hot topic!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kurzweilai.net\/eeg-sleep-study-adds-to-evidence-of-a-neural-fingerprint\">EEG sleep study<\/a> suggests that people may have unique brainwave patterns &#8212; perhaps, in the future, these could be used for identification, or to diagnose mental disorders.<\/li>\n<li>Brain-computer interfaces are also advancing: <a href=\"http:\/\/singularityhub.com\/2011\/04\/25\/patients-control-computer-using-only-their-minds-video\/\">Patients use ECoG electrodes to control a computer! <\/a><\/li>\n<li>If other people are trying to read your mind, maybe you can <a>learn to control your thoughts<\/a> using real-time fMRI feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My group has already posted our final project, a report on the physics of mind-reading, but I wanted to share a few recent news articles on the subject.
