Wow, it has been a long time since I updated this.  So much has happened in the last year or so.  We’ve got new awesome custom tanks in the frog room!  These make it so much easier to find the frogs, feed them, and see how they are doing.

Over the summer Tarif and Jared each did tadpole experiments which allowed us to start the long-term artificial selection experiment, selecting for extreme tadpole phenotypes. This resulted in us raising over 200 tadpoles to adulthood!  Thanks to Hubert for his heroic efforts taking care of these little critters all fall.  They are now happily in the frog colony after spending months in individual containers.

What else?? We made lab t-shirts!  Thanks to Annie for the fantastic design and to Megan for the clever slogan for the back.
