About the Conference:
The annual Vassar College Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference (VC IYEC) intends on inviting about 100 high school students and community representatives from the local area with the intention of providing a day full of workshops, speakers, and plenary sessions that seek to inform and empower youth about issues confronting the immigration community.
The 1st Annual Vassar College Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference (VC IYEC) will take place at Vassar College on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 9am until 3:30pm.
The conference theme for this inaugural year is “Stories of Resilience and Resistance”
