In all of her work, Borradori has interrogated the margins between different lineages and traditions, effectively opening new channels of communication between them. She is the editor of <em>Recoding Metaphysics: The New Italian Philosophy<\/em>(Northwestern University Press, 1988), the first anthology of Italian contemporary philosophy to be published in English. She is also the author of two books: <em>The American Philosopher<\/em> (University of Chicago Press, 1993), dedicated to fostering a dialogue between analytical and Continental philosophy, and <em>Philosophy in a Time of Terror. Dialogues with J\u00fcrgen Habermas and Jacques Derrida<\/em> (University of Chicago Press, 2003), the first philosophical appraisal of the war on terror, now translated into eighteen languages. Some of her book chapters, essays, and book-reviews have been published nationally and internationally and are available on this website. In addition to teaching at Vassar, Borradori has been a visiting professor at the Graduate School of Architecture, Columbia University, at the <span lang=\"PT-BR\">Universidad de Antioquia, Medell\u00edn, Colombia,<\/span> at the International University College of Turin, Italy, and at Universit\u00e9 Jean Moulin Lyon 3, in Lyon, France.
