{"id":1901,"date":"2016-06-28T09:51:30","date_gmt":"2016-06-28T13:51:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pages.vassar.edu\/fordscholars\/?page_id=1901"},"modified":"2024-09-11T12:59:41","modified_gmt":"2024-09-11T16:59:41","slug":"symposium","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pages.vassar.edu\/fordscholars\/symposium\/","title":{"rendered":"Symposium Prep"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ford Scholars Symposium Wednesday, September 18th, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wednesday, September 18, 5:00pm &#8211; 7:30pm<br \/>\nFord Scholars Symposium<br \/>\nClass of &#8217;51 Reading Room, Main Library<\/p>\n<p>Scholars should arrive by 4:45.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Due by End of Project<\/strong><br \/>\nWordPress posting of your project: 250-300 word summary plus one or two images that relate to your project.<br \/>\nCompleted electronic presentation for the Symposium<br \/>\nIf you need help with your electronic presentation, please contact Baynard Bailey.<\/p>\n<h3>Preparing for the Symposium<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Ford Scholars Symposium is a celebration of the summer Ford projects and it is an academic event that honors the collaboration between faculty and students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Symposium will be in-person in the Class of 1951 Reading Room in the Main Library.\u00a0 The Symposium will be open to the campus community, so please feel free to invite some guests.
