To date, I have used this audio kit on one shoot for my film, and I plan to use it again over the course of the spring semester and the summer on further shoots. Having the ability to record high-quality stereo audio has dramatically increased the sound quality of my film. In addition, I have been able to train advanced students in the use of stereo audio recording. These materials are relatively more complex to use than the more standard Zoom\/Tascam handheld audio recorders, so it would make sense for students and faculty with an interest in using them to try the more entry-level options first. The blimp provides an excellent windscreen against heavy winds but is perhaps overkill for more standard weather conditions.<\/p>\n
