When recording, do the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise attendees that they are being recorded.<\/li>\n<li>Record the active speaker using screen sharing, not Gallery view. See\u00a0<a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360025561091-Recording-layouts\">Recording Layouts<\/a>\u00a0for details.<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/201362653-Spotlight-Video\">Spotlight video<\/a>\u00a0to lock the active speaker to the presenter and uncheck \u2018Display participants\u2019 names in the recording.<\/li>\n<li>Do not discuss\u00a0<strong>Restricted<\/strong><span class=\"mce-nbsp-wrap\">\u00a0<\/span>information<span class=\"mce-nbsp-wrap\">\u00a0<\/span>(eg.<span class=\"mce-nbsp-wrap\">\u00a0<\/span>personal<span class=\"mce-nbsp-wrap\">\u00a0<\/span>information,<span class=\"mce-nbsp-wrap\">\u00a0<\/span>personal<span class=\"mce-nbsp-wrap\">\u00a0<\/span>health<span class=\"mce-nbsp-wrap\">\u00a0<\/span>information, financial information).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Protecting\u00a0Recordings<\/h2>\n<p>Do the following when sharing recordings to protect their privacy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/205347605-Managing-cloud-recordings#h_48ac2f31-187a-4051-95a6-ef35fae2562c\">Protect recordings with a password<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Enable only authenticated users to view<\/li>\n<li>Prevent downloads.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You can record your Zoom meeting, but sensitive information should not be recorded (nor should it be included\u00a0in a meeting title\/description or any text field that may be stored\u00a0in Zoom).
