But how do we do that? Join us online for an interactive morning of discussion and skill building around the issues of (in)equity that inform communicating our research and accessing information, within and beyond the academy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Highlights include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A keynote lecture with local Seattle celebrity,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nikkitaoliver.com\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.nikkitaoliver.com\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1584555594947000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGaaYmlvuOdj5oH1g9P2umwDj04Bw\">Nikkita Oliver<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Short sessions highlighting topics from public scholarship to equity in data visualization to equity in open education<\/li>\n<li>Panel on diverse design<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This free interdisciplinary online event is open to all: faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students,\u00a0<strong>and community members from outside the university<\/strong>. More than ever, sharing research quickly and openly is crucial and we hope this event can inspire and encourage us to give consideration to equity while doing so.
