This semester, as part of their classwork, the EDUC 373 students will be working alongside of \u00a0middle school students to explore digital literacies.<br \/>\n<a title=\"DSC_0045 by BaynardBailey, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/baynardbailey\/4059594256\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2527\/4059594256_27b6d0003f.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0045\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOur purposes in using WordPress for this course are multi-tiered. On one level, we wanted a way to quickly and easily share the work of the\u00a0 students with friends and family. We also thought publishing to the \u201cblogosphere\u201d good preparation for the Vassar students in that it prepares them to write for a broader audience, an important component of their liberal arts education. For educators, we thought that this site might serve as a useful resource both for those who work with adolescents and\/or digital media.
