Using shadow imaging to study swimming behaviors.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Sam: <\/span>Symmetry group library almost done<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Michael:<\/span> improvement to Labview code. documenting Labiew\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 code in VAOL blog site.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Dylan:<\/span>. Working on modeling diagram<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Justin:<\/span> making Google Document. Invite people and begun writing protocol. Good progress on video analysis<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Minutes for 5\/31 meeting<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Meeting started with introductions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; There will be a presentation by Michael and Karl on using Google Sketchup on Friday, June 1 at 9:30 in SP211.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Professor Magnes\u2019 NSF annual report is due tomorrow, June 1. All students should fill out the demographic survey they were forwarded. Dr. Susman\u2019s students may not have received email yet.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Monday lunch will be held in SP211 from noon to 1PM for all URSI students in the Physics Department. Bring your own lunch!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Research Summaries<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Prof Susman: <\/span>Effects of fungicides containing elements known to cause neurological harm to humans on nematodes.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Eunice<\/span>: Effects of fungicide on <em>C. elegans <\/em>dopamine neurotransmitters<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Prof Magnes<\/span>: Code to recover original worm image from diffraction pattern.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Karl:<\/span> Using group theory to model worm shapes and diffraction patterns. Using shadow imaging to study swimming behaviors.
