Complete details and application coming soon!<\/li>\n<li>February 11 &#8211; Moses Tulasi, filmmaker &#8211; with Women&#8217;s Studies and Music course &#8220;Topics in Construction of Gender: Race, Anti\/Colonialisms, and Queering Music Performance&#8221; &#8211; screening of his film\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/129216593\">Walking the Walk<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>which follows the participants of Hyderabad&#8217;s\u00a0<i>Swabhimana<\/i> (self-respect) Queer Pride March, Skype session afterward with Tulasi as well as others who contributed to the film\n<ul>\n<li>Stay tuned for\u00a0a performance by Dr. micha c\u00e1rdenas, a transgender artist and theorist, in association with the same course later in the semester.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>February 22-26 &#8211; Michael Chorost, sonic cyborg, and Trevor Pinch, sound specialist and Cornell Professor &#8211; first Sonic Cyborg* residency<\/li>\n<li>March 1-2 &#8211; Annea Lockwood, sound artist &#8211; with Environmental Studies course &#8220;Issues in Environmental Studies: Animal Metaphors&#8221; &#8211; a lecture and installation<\/li>\n<li>April 11-15 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ted.com\/talks\/neil_harbisson_i_listen_to_color?language=en\">Neil Harbisson<\/a>, sonic cyborg, and Marco Donnarumma, performance and sound artist &#8211; second Sonic Cyborg* residency<\/li>\n<li>May 5 &#8211; Sound of Space Concert &#8211; with the Physics, Music, and Art course &#8220;The Sound of Space&#8221; &#8211; an ambulatory concert beginning in the Chapel and ending in Frances Daly Fergusson Dance Theater in Kenyon<\/li>\n<li>May 26 &#8211; Mark Dion, visual artist known for &#8220;cabinets of curiosities&#8221; &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/fllac.vassar.edu\/exhibitions\/2016\/mark-dion.html\">exhibition<\/a> opening in The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center culminating his residency and co-teaching of American Studies course &#8220;From the Natural History Museum to Ecotourism: The Collection of Nature&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Stay tuned for guest artists in the podcast industry, with Film and Media Studies course &#8220;Producing Audio Narratives,&#8221; including:\n<ul>\n<li>January 28 &#8211; Bianca Giaever, radio producer for This American Life and Radiolab<\/li>\n<li>February 23 &#8211; Stephanie Foo, radio producer for Snap Judgement and This American Life<\/li>\n<li>March 10 &#8211; Audrey Quinn, radio producer for Morning Edition and Studio 360<\/li>\n<li>April 7 &#8211; Chris Duffy, host for &#8220;You&#8217;re the Expert&#8221; live radio show<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Student work will also be featured in the Collaboratory through several creative sound-based installations.
