Internationally renowned Deaf performing artist Peter Cook is\u00a0associate professor of ASL-English interpretation at Chicago\u2019s Columbia College.\u00a0Cook has been featured in festivals such as the Jonesboro National Storytelling Festival,\u00a0Illinois Storytelling Festival, and the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.\u00a0\u00a0The goal of\u00a0<em>Flying Words<\/em> is probably the same as all other poets: to play with language. As luck would have it, ASL is a language of moving pictures.
