Because it has access to so many different types of sources, it is difficult to filter the useful and reliable ones from those that are not; however, Google News has a special feature called the Newspaper Archive, in which users can search for archived newspaper articles by publication title, article topic, or topic. Each search produces\u00a0numerous scanned copies of articles from a range of newspapers, from various points in history to the present day. This resource offers free access to the past, and can serve as a useful and reliable source of information about any topic.
