We are not shut out or narrowly accepted by boundaries of the page. We are open to learning and experiencing and thinking about things differently.”
In my story, I explore and gradually emphasize and validate individuality and nonconformity. In provocation of the emphasis, I casually zoom in on my own context with stories; I contemplate literature’s complex ability to simultaneously expand our thoughts beyond textual borders and box us in, compartmentalizing our knowledge of the world.
