We then discussed potential long-range subjects of CAT discussion and action this year: anti-plagiarism software; enhanced funding for academic technology exploration; LACOL (Liberal Arts Consortium for Online Learning); and the adoption by CAT of an ongoing discussion of so-called distracted reading\/distracted learning begun as a Faculty Discussion and continued in the Library Committee.
