I’m aware that the entirety of the title of this section is gibberish.  I’m also aware that most of what I hear in response to “Why did you choose these equations for your model?” is also gibberish. This may more accurately be placed in the teach section with respect to something about my philosophy, but since I’m working on a paper ranting about one particular model I figured this is a good spot.

The model that currently irks me is… no, I’m going to blog about it here.  That sounds lovely. For now be content with the fact that this will be a future place where I post publications/ notes about model selection or maybe something more appropriately called equations selection.
