I am a Mathematical Biologist & Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Vassar College. I received my Ph.D. in applied math for the life and social sciences from Arizona State University in 2012 (advisor: Carlos Castillo-Chavez) and I studied mathematics at both Oregon State University (advisor: Mina Ossiander) and the University of Maine (advisors: David Hiebeler and Robert Franzosa). I’ve been involved with the Mathematical and Theoretical Biology Institute for over a decade and have been involved with the Simon A. Levin Mathematical, Computational and Modeling Sciences Center, the Levin Lab, and the EcoServices Group.
