\"Sara<\/a>\u00a0 Sara Gonzalez is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Anthropology at Vassar College.\u00a0 She is an anthropological archaeologist by training and received her doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley in 2011.\u00a0 Her current research interests include the archaeology of colonialism, community and public archaeology, and historic anthropology.\u00a0 In addition to working in the most beautiful place on earth (the Sonoma coast, in case you were wondering) she enjoys blogging about archaeology and making cupcakes for her students.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Kalia Yeagle is in her junior year at Vassar College, studying Geography and Anthropology. While she\u2019s found a wonderfully supportive community in the Hudson Valley, her home will always be Anchorage, Alaska. When she puts the books aside, Kalia plays the fiddle with various bands in the tri-state area, focusing primarily on bluegrass, Celtic, and old-time styles.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Caitlin Clevenger is a junior Anthropology major at Vassar College with a correlate sequence in\u00a0British Literary History with a Specialization in Medieval and Early Modern Literature and Culture. That’s actually what her correlate is called. She recently returned from a semester abroad in Scotland, where medieval ruins are sometimes just sitting there in fields, with sheep grazing around them.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> Sarah Dutton is a senior Anthropology major, Biology minor at Vassar College. She went abroad to Melbourne, Australia last year. One of her favorite shops is called Maxilla and Mandible, where they sell fossils. It is on the same street as the American Museum of Natural History, where Sarah was an intern last summer.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Teddy Long is a junior at Vassar College majoring in English and Anthropology. His\u00a0current research interests include linguistics, bibliography, and concepts of post-colonialism and modernity. When he\u00a0is not deconstructing the social constructs implicit in deconstructionist oeuvres, he\u00a0likes to watch Nicholas Cage movies and drink ayurvedic teas.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Anne Silk is a junior at Vassar College majoring and Art History and minoring in Anthropology. She just got back from her semester abroad in Copenhagen where she attempted to visit every European art museum possible and see all of her favorite paintings. While her greatest interest lies in museum studies, her other passions include making her own art, digging in the field, and baking like crazy. Her most life changing experience was her dig in Siena, Italy after her freshman year of college, where she dug up 6th\/7th century BCE Etruscan artifacts!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Melanie Horn is a junior at Vassar College.\u00a0 She is an anthropology major, focusing on biological and physical anthropology, and is also fulfilling her pre-med requirements.\u00a0 On campus, she competes on the varsity women’s tennis team, and is also a campus tour guide. \u00a0Some very important things to know about Melanie are that she is from New Jersey, she is an arts and crafts enthusiast, and she has an extremely cute Wheaton Terrier named Ivy.<\/p>\n
