Shirley will talk about the work she did to introduce Health Economics as a scholarly field in Economics and the path she took to introduce the first course in health economics into the Vassar Economics Department curriculum. Please join us!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be a panel discussion with <strong>emeritus professor Mark Schlessman <\/strong>and professor Meg Ronsheim, among others, entitled &#8220;The Botanist at Vassar.&#8221; The panel, in conjunction with an exhibition at the Loeb Art Center, exploring the relationship between plant science and image making, will consider how artists participate in the study of plants and how botanists use images as scientific tools. It will take place at the Loeb Art Center on Thursday, April 23rd at 5.
