Many videos that are embedded into Moodle pages actually reside on Vassar’s Panopto streaming server. In order for that embedding to work, your browser must be configured to accept third-party cookies and allow cross-website tracking. Many browsers are configured this way be default, but some are not.<\/p>\n

If the space where the video should appear show the VassarOne login screen or an error message, then you have a browser configuration problem. The easiest solution may be to switch to a different browser. But if you want to configure your browser to play these videos, here’s how:<\/p>\n

(Quick fix:<\/strong> If you’re experiencing this problem using Safari on a laptop or desktop computer, switch to Chrome.)<\/p>\n

Chrome on your Computer:
\n<\/strong>The default setting for Chrome is fine, but if it\u2019s been changed, you\u2019ll need to do the following:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right of your browser window. \"\"<\/li>\n
  2. Choose Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Choose Privacy and Security<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Choose Cookies and other site data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. Choose to allow all cookies or block third-party cookies only in Incognito mode.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    FireFox on your Computer:
    \n<\/strong>The default setting for FireFox is fine, but if it\u2019s been changed, you\u2019ll need to do the following:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Click on the 3 horizontal lines in the upper right of your browser window.\"\"<\/li>\n
    2. Click on Preferences<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Click on Privacy & Security<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. Click on Custom<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    5. Make sure that the settings do not block all cookies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Internet Explorer on your Computer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Click on the gear icon in the upper right of your browser window. \"\"<\/li>\n
      2. Click on Internet options<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. Click on the Privacy<\/strong> tab and then on the Advanced<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
      4. Under First-party Cookies<\/strong> AND Third-party Cookies<\/strong>, choose Accept<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Safari on your Computer:
        \n<\/strong>The default setting for Safari must be changed<\/strong> in order to view these videos.<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Under the Safari<\/strong> menu, choose Preferences<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        2. Click on the Privacy<\/strong> icon.<\/li>\n
        3. Make sure that \u201cPrevent cross-site tracking\u201d is unchecked<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Safari on iPad or iPhone:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Go to your device\u2019s Settings<\/strong> app and choose Safari<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          2. Deselect<\/strong> \u201cPrevent Cross-Site Tracking\u201d and \u201cBlock All Cookies.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Chrome on your iPad (May not work on iPhone):<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Go to your device\u2019s Settings<\/strong> app and choose Chrome<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
