Some posts are written by students in my classes. Their posts are categorized under the Guest Blogger category and have their name at the top of the post.
I believe it is important for scientists and students to be able to effectively communicate about science with the general public. There is a general lack of public understanding about the way science progresses, the way research is done, and what new findings really mean. Thus students in my classes contribute to this blog to develop their skills in writing about new findings in a way that is accurate, accessible and understandable for the general public.
