What is F.A.S.T?

The VC~Fast program was developed by the Athletic Department to enlist the support of the Vassar College Faculty to strengthen the relationship between the students, student-athletes, faculty and coaches. FAST members help support programs in an informal fashion by attending competitions and engaging student-athletes and coaches off the playing field. They can be invited to games, team gathers, meals and community service projects to further the lines of communication and friendship.

Matthew Vassar's vision of the integration of physical training into the academic and extracurricular activities that make up a "thorough, well-proportioned and liberal education" is of particular emphasis in the Vassar Athletics & Physical Education Department and of this organization.

Enjoy!
