The mission of the Vassar Cross Country & Track Programs is to provide a meaningful, national caliber, athletics experience that fosters self-discovery and the skills necessary for a successful, purposeful life. Vassar Cross Country & Track encourages a competitive, cooperative, supportive team environment, in which student-athletes take accountability for developing their physical, psychological and emotional abilities through a balanced, committed and thorough approach to training, preparation and competition.

The goal is to see each student-athlete fulfill their highest level of ability athletically, and in doing so develop and grow as human beings.

The vision is for Vassar College Cross Country & Track to be perennial national caliber teams, and to be represented at the highest levels of league, region and national competition season after season.
