Hello, everyone! My name is Kaitlyn and I’m a freshman at Vassar. I’m from Delmar, NY, a suburb just outside of Albany, and I have a younger brother who just started middle school this year. I’ll be tutoring on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and I’ll also be around to help out the other mentors who are leading activities. As of now my major is undeclared, but I’m really interested in English, Spanish, and anthropology. On campus I’m a violist in the orchestra, and a member of the Helicon literary magazine and Amnesty International. I’ve really enjoyed meeting many of the scholars and mentors the first few days of VAST and I’m excited to be a part of the program!
