VAST Activities: Squash Courts

On Friday October 25, the VAST scholars were invited to learn how to play squash with the Vassar College squash team. The squash team was very generous and allowed our middle school students to use their squash courts in Kenyon Hall at Vassar.

The VAST scholars worked with members of the Vassar squash team to learn the rules of the game and how to use the squash rackets. They did a skills test to see how many times in a row they could hit the ball in the air using the racket.

Hopefully the VAST scholars will be invited back to Vassar soon to practice their squash skills! More pictures are below:

VAST really appreciates the Vassar Squash team inviting us to use their courts and giving us a workshop! We learned so much about college sports. THANK YOU!
