Thomas Cole’s stunning view

Hudson River School painter Thomas Cole lived and worked in Catskill in the 19th century. When you visit his home you can see why he was so inspired by the landscape of the region. This week, Youd is retyping Light Years by James Salter with Cole’s view in the background. See for yourself why so many artists and writers gravitate to the area and make it the subject of their work. Youd will be on the grounds of the Thomas Cole National Historic Site all week until he finishes the novel around lunchtime on Friday.
