Student Panelists

Len Cattan-Prugl ’18 (They/Them/Theirs) is a Women’s Studies major from the US and Switzerland. They are an Aquarius, and after graduating, they hope to help others and make a difference.

Sofia Gutierrez ’18 is a Drama major from Bogotá, Colombia. Sofía is confused by most things, impatient for revolutions and always hungry for food and music.

Alexandru Mahmoud ’18 is a Computer Science and Psychological Science double major and FFS correlate who was born in Romania and grew up in Lebanon. Alex works with Vassar’s Students for Justice in Palestine and Jewish Voice for Peace, as well as general organizing work related to the needs of low-income international students and middle eastern students at Vassar. Although Alex does not like the incessant use of pronouns as a general rule, they prefer gender neutral pronouns when necessary.

Samantha Henderson ’20 is an FFS and IS double major, interested in international development. She is also passionate about painting and is on the Women’s Squash team at Vassar.

Samuel O’Keefe ’20 is an FFS and IS double major and is involved with the Vassar Haiti Project on campus. Sam is interested in pursuing a human rights and public health-related career.

Eilif Rønning ’20 is a Geography major and Chinese correlate, from Norway, and is interested in agro-biodiversity.
