Next Thursday, March 9, please join us in Skinner Hall at 7:00pm to be a part of the live audience for the taping of the podcast series You’re the Expert! Created and hosted by stand-up comedian Chris Duffy, this podcast features an expert in a particular field as well as a panel of three comedians. Through a hilarious series of games, sketches, and guesses, the comedians try to deduce what exactly the expert studies.
Who are the comedians?
The three comedians who will be participating in the episode being recorded at Vassar are Josh Sharp, Gary Richardson, and Obehi Janice.
Sharp studies and performs at Upright Citizens Brigade, was included in Vulture’s 2015 list of “Comics You Should Know” and was named “Comic to Watch” by TimeOutNY in 2015. Please visit his profile on the UCB Comedy website to learn more about his work in comedy.

Brooklyn Magazine named Richardson one of Brooklyn’s 50 Funniest People calling him an “alt-comic.” Like Sharp, he performs at UCB as well as Annoyance Theter, and he has also had guest appearances in several TV shows and comedy specials, including Netflix’s The Characters, The Chris Gethard Show, and The Special Without Brett Davis. Janice is a successful triple-threat, working as an actress, writer, and comedian. The Georgetown graduate was named “Boston’s Best Actress” by The Improper Bostonian in 2014. She won the Reel 13/AfroPunk Film Competition for her comedic short, BLACK GIRL YOGA. Looking to bolster millennial socio-political arts and culture across many media and forms, Janice extends her work from the stage to the screen to podcasts to public speaking. She is currently the TCG Fox Foundation Resident Actor at Company One Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts.
