We discussed the on-going efforts of College Relations and the Committee on Committees to develop a new website for college committees. We resolved that, in addition to continuing to compile more detailed minutes on Moodle, we would make it a practice of summarizing their key points on the CAT blog (starting with this meeting) and make the blog public as a model of online communication for other college committees.
We also discussed the chair’s response to FPCC’s request for comments on our committee’s description in the governance. Finally, we discussed the implications of director of institutional research David Davis-Van Atta’s presentation (on 2/4/11) about the findings of the 2007-08 UCLA HERI faculty survey.
