Application for Use of Facilities at the Priscilla Bullitt Collins Field Station, Vassar College Farm and Ecological Preserve
Application to use the Collin's field are required for any use of the field station, alteration of the ecological preserve lands, or use of equipment. To document use and avoid conflicts, the Field Station Manager is requested for all field trips to the preserve.

How will you manage waste while working at the Field Station?
The Field Station is on a septic system and special precautions must be made when disposing of waste in the lab.
Type of use:
Description of your research project
Course number and title
Description of the lecture or lab that will be held at the preserve
Include names, position, and contact information for other people that will be working on his project.
Plan outlining your waste management while working at the field station
Include a list of what chemicals you will be using, how you will manage waste while working at the station, and how you will dispose of waste. Please keep in mind that the Field Station is on a septa system and we need to be very careful about what is disposed of down the drain.
List the facilities that will be used during this project
This list should include the number of people who will need office space, use laboratory facilities, use of field sites, and storage space. Please include GPS coordinates or a map for any field sites. Please include the approximate square footage of storage and amount of laboratory space that will be required. Please note that all equipment must be removed from the station within 2 weeks of the project's conclusion.
