Exam Accommodations

Students must request specific exam accommodations in a timely manner throughout the semester.  Possible exam accommodations include extended time (50%), extended time (100%), low distraction/private exam room, use of a computer, or anything else the student requests and is approved.  A student who receives extended time will either be approved for 50% or 100% extra time.  A student who receives 50% time receives the normal time plus half of the normal time.  A student who receives 100% time receives twice the normal time.  In order to receive exam accommodations throughout the semester, students who are approved for exam accommodations must speak with their professor about the accommodation at least a week before their exam.  This is necessary in order to work out the logistics, including where, when, and with whom you will take the exam.
